Sandy Girl

With the weather being so nice lately we have been spending lots of time outside. In fact, that's about all Ellie wants to do these days. Most of the time you can find her pushing her push toys up and down the driveway, riding around the neighborhood in the stroller or wagon, playing at our neighborhood playground, and Ellie's new favorite in the sand box. I must admit the first time she spotted the sand at a playground I cringed inside. All I could think about was the mess and the germs. But in spite of these things I put her down in the sand and the rest is history. If we would let her, I'm pretty sure she would play in the sand for hours. Here are a few pics from our trip to the sand box this past Saturday afternoon.

First Steps

This morning Ellie finally took her first steps. Watch out world!

On the Go

Over the past 3 days Ellie has finally begun to show signs that she is close to walking on her own. She has been pushing her toys around all over the house practically non-stop. It is so cute to see our tiny girl walking upright all of a sudden! Listen to hear the cute sounds she makes while walking...so precious.
